I've been extremely busy this past week:
Wednesday night, Laurie & DJ Brina Payne (Ladies Love NYC) put together an event at Fat Baby in the LES & I had the pleasure of spinning a set down in the bassment (and for the MCs as well). And who were those dudes that kept on requesting Mobb Deep & questioned me if I knew who they are? I'm from Queens, man! The following night was the Bamboo Banger bi-weekly joint at Katra. Shout outs to Scrills, Jon Blak, & Jason Negron. Liz aka EMA Photography was also in the house taking flicks. Peep them below. And here's a cliche advice, DON'T PUT ANY BEVERAGES NEAR THE TURNTABLES, PERIOD. Heinekens were spilling all over the place on Thurs night...and on my records! But it's all good, we wiped them dry in quick seconds. Whew.
Today, I will be spinning at the "Something For the Ladies" sale at Valley from 3pm til ? The last one was awesome (I picked up some goodies). My nails need some manicure loving right now too so it's perfect. F-U-N.
